They have essentially just paid for their instrument three times in seven years with an expensive $6K/year service contract, and now they have no instrument due to parts being unavailable. If you are looking for the opposite experience then we are here to help, Buck Atomic Absorption spectrometers are built to be simple and reliable, so you don’t need to waste money on service contracts, save that money for raises, or a new company car. Ease of ServiceThe 230ATS is hands down the easiest Atomic Absorption spectrometer to service, we have made all of the wear and tear components easily accessible, and the front panel is on tracks that allow the service engineer to slide it forward to replace components. Our founder Bob Anderson was a big brand service engineer that was tired of fixing instruments for simple design flaws, and was ignored by management when he proposed design changes. This is why you will not find a cheap component inside our Atomic absorption systems. We would rather make less money then sell an inferior instrument. Caring SupportBuck has been family owned and operated since 1970, which means we actually care about keeping you up and running. Once you buy a Buck instrument you will be treated like family, not a customer support ticket. We answer our own phones, and respond to all emails within 24 hours or less. We can help you with problems over the phone, via zoom or email. Most domestic customers send their AA to us for service here in Norwalk, CT via FedEx ground, which saves customers thousands of dollars. We have international distributors which can assist you with after sales service as well if you are an international customer. Every instrument comes with Free In-House training for the life of your instrument, we will even buy you lunch! VIDEOS_______________________________________________ |
